Shaikh Ibrahim Memon Madani
Shaikh Ibrahim Memon Madani was born in the blessed city of Madina. He began his quest of knowledge with the memorization of the Holy Quran at an early age. He enrolled at the prestigious Madrasah Arabiyya Islamiyya at Bury, England – the first Islamic seminary of its kind in Europe. He completed his memorization of the Holy Quran as well as an in-depth study of Classical Arabic, Quranic Exegesis (Tafsir), Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Prophetic Traditions (Hadith) and other related disciplines, which form part of a traditional Islamic curriculum.
In 1987, he moved to Canada and served as the Imam of Waterloo Masjid for four years. In 1991, he established an Islamic seminary in Buffalo, Darul Uloom Al-Madania. In 2010, a new branch of the seminary by the name of Darul Uloom Canada was opened in Chatham, Ontario. He pioneered eAlim, an online distance education program which caters to those who want to seek authentic Islamic knowledge but are unable to attend a full-time seminary. Then in 2013, he started a new institution for the general public called “Ibadur Rahmaan: Servants of Allah”
According to his students he is an ardent bibliophile and erudite scholar with thorough grasp of the Islamic tradition, whether it is Quranic exegesis, Hadith scholarship, Islamic Jurisprudence, History and Biography, Theology or Spirituality. He is fluent in Arabic, Urdu and English.
Currently, he is a senior lecturer and research scholar in Darul Uloom Canada. He teaches Sunan at-Tirmidhi, one of the six most authentic books of Hadith, to the final year students of the seminary. He has taught Sahih Bukhari in the past. He gives weekly Tafsir lessons, which are broadcasted online. He has hundreds of audio recordings on various topics, including serialized Tafsir of the Holy Quran, biographies of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam), the Companions (radiallahu ta’ala anhum) and the Pious Predecessors, as well as various Islamic topics relevant to the spiritual and academic betterment of Muslims, freely downloadable from the Darul Uloom Al-Madania website. He has authored a number of works including, The Book of Purification, The Essentials of Jumma and The Preservation of Hadith.
His extensive national and international travel experience on lecture appointments, community and interfaith outreach events and educational tours has given him valuable insights that his students and addressees regularly benefit from.

Mufti Asif Iqbal
Mufti Asif Iqbal was born in Mumbai, India. After moving to the United States in 1992, he started memorizing Quran in Jamia Madinatul-Uloom in New Orleans, LA. Thereafter, he enrolled in the prestigious seminary Darul Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo, NY to commence on a six-year intensive study of the core disciplines of a traditional Islamic education such as Arabic, Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis), Hadith (Prophetic Traditions), Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and other related disciplines. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2002.
In 2004, he completed a post-graduate specialization program in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts (Iftaa), which trains scholars to issue formal Islamic legal opinions (Fatwa). He served as the Imam and the director of religious affairs for Manassas Muslim Association in Manassas, VA from 2004 -2015.
In 2016, he relocated to Louisville, KY to serve as the director and an instructor for Hira Institute.

Upon becoming a Hafiz, he enrolled in the 7-year course of Islamic Sciences at Darul-Uloom. Upon completion of his degree (Masters Equivalency) in 2002, he returned to Canada to serve the Muslim community of Calgary, Alberta.
He is member of the Calgary Imams Council and a dedicated resource for the Muslim Council of Calgary (MCC).
Imam Fayaz is the founder and director of Tahfeez-ul-Quran, a Quranic memorization program of Calgary. He also serves as an Imam for the greater Calgary Area, along with being the official Muslim chaplain at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University and Alberta Health Services. He has also obtained certification and is pursuing higher studies in general and family counseling.

Mufti Abdul Mannan Mulla was born in Bridgetown, Barbados. He completed his primary school in Toronto and enrolled in the famous Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo. He memorized the Holy Quran and completed the formal study of the core disciplines of a traditional Islamic curriculum and graduated with distinction.
Upon graduation, he completed a post-graduate specialization program in Islamic Law and Legal Verdicts (Iftaa) that trains scholars to issue formal Islamic legal opinions (Fatwa).
He taught in Darul Uloom Canada and its online distance-learning program, eAlim. Most notably, he taught Sunan Ibn Majah, which is among the six most authentic books of Hadith. He has lectured in various Masjids giving Friday sermons and instructing in seminars.
Currently, he is the Khateeb, Imam and Religious counselor at Pickering Islamic Centre, where he teaches Arabic Language, Fiqh and Tafseer. He takes a keen interest in youth oriented activities and community education. He lives in Toronto with his family.
